What we require from you.
Thanks for taking the time to get a quote from Solarhut.
As discussed on the phone with you, we’ll need some initial photos to help us with our survey and final quote for your home or property.
Below are some examples of photos that will help us finalise the quote.
All elevations of your property
We will need to be able to see the different sides of your home or property in a photo to show the roof and walls, as well as any trees, buildings or structures that are near.
This is a good example of a north elevation:
This is a good example of an east elevation:
You can see that this photo is similar to the south-facing photo. In most circumstances, this is ok. As seen in these photos the east facing wall is clearly visible.

Internal roof structure
Please provide at least 3 photos of the inside of your loft/roof area. We will need to ensure that the structure is able to sustain solar panels. This is a good example of such a photo:
Consumer unit
Please can you provide a photo or photos of the consumer unit (fuse board). It should show the main trip switches and any cables you can see underneath. Multiple photos may be easier than trying to fit this into one:
Electric meter and incoming fuse
Lastly, please can you send us photos of the electric meter and the main fuse supplying the home.
There are two ways:
